Halo 3: ODST! Mini-Review.

Finally its out and the waits over but is it really what I had expected? Well first off it looks great, a nice change from Halo 3's visuals but the bloom is a big problem.

The lighting is all over the place, too dark, way too light its really hard to see a lot of things a lot! of the time.

Guns do very little damage and you take very little damage, the guns you start with you drain in about 2-3 brutes and finding more ammo is diffcult.

FireFight is lots of fun and the campaign generally works but the open world gameplay is where the game really takes a hit. Finding you way in a giant city with a horrible waypoint system is a good way to fall asleep very fast.

All in all its a pretty well rounded game. I nice change of place even if i didn't care for some of the aspects of the gameplay such as the open world element which seemed like it was only incorporated to lengthen play through time.

Gameplay: 8.5: A good change even if the weapons are too weak.
Graphics: 9.0: Looks great!
Sound: 10.0: An amazing dramatic/jazz compilation.
Worth: 7.5: The campaign is really short and for $100 doesn't really stack up.
Overall: 8.0 - A solid entry to the series.

PS: Lol if you read the first version of this post both of them have pretty different outcomes.
