In this part as the title suggests I'll be going over my favourite guns, perks and maps for Call of Duty: World at War. So without further adieu lets begin.
Call of Duty: World at War:
Favourite Set-up: PTRS-41 + Tokerav TT-33 with Stopping Power or instead OverKill with the M1A1 Carbine taking the place of your side-arm. Possibly the M2 Flamethrower, Bouncing Betties or Bomb Squad. Dead Silence for your green perk.
Reasons: The PTRS-41 is the final sniper you unlock in the game and easily the best. Its Semi-Automatic and very powerful with a hefty clip size to boot. If your using it by its self Bandolier maybe necessary if your the kind of sniper that likes to take pot-shots. The Tokerav TT-33 is an efficient pistol and good in a tense situation. If your using OverKill with the M1A1 Carbine both the carbine and the PTRS-41 and powerful enough without it. Bouncing Betties and good for people like camping or for people like placing one in a random place just to piss somebody off. Bomb Squad makes it hellya easy to spot enemy explosives which is helpful for objective gametypes and the M2 Flamethrower is just for people that like to piss around. Dead Silence makes your footsteps super silent making it nearly impossible for enemies to hear you while also making it easy for you to hear them.
Favourite Map(s) : Revolution and Battery.
Reasons: Both of these maps are the cream of the crop when it comes to Call of Duty: World at War's DLC. Revolution is a map riddled with expansive building featuring a ton of cover, points to look over and fun. A map great for sniping and is actually medium sized. Battery is perfect for rushing with any type of SMG (I use the PPSh-41 for this one). Lots of fun.
Favourite Gametype: Team Deathmatch.
Reasons: Seriously how can you go wrong with Team Deathmatch. Its a staple in pretty much every Multiplayer game no matter what you call it. Plus I didn't really play much else on World at War as well but I hear Search and Destroy is good.
(Dis)honourable mentions:
If you want to do really really good at Call of Duty: World at War but are kind of a noob use: The Mp40 with dual cap. with juggernaut and martyrdom. The Mp40 is truely overpowered so you don't really need stopping power but it does but killing almost instant. As for the dual cap., the amount extremely powerful spray you can do is unmatched.
Well that rounds Part 2 of Game Set-Ups. I hope you enjoyed reading this and also that it helps you suck less at multiplayer.
